Chilli

My Easy Chilli recipes makes a great midweek meal , if you want it hotter then please add more chilli powder.

Ingredients

1 Large Onion  Chopped
3 cloves of Fresh Garlic Chopped
1lb of Mince Beef
1 Tin of Chopped Tomatoes
1 Glass of Red Wine
1 Tin of Red Kidney Beans
2 tsp of Worcestershire sauce
1 Oxo beef cute
30g of Dark Choc
2 Tbsps of Basil to Garnish

Spices

3 tsp of Cumin
2 tsp of dried oregano
2 tsp of ground coriander
1tsp of Paprika
1 tsp of Chilli Powder
1 tsp of Mild curry powder
2 Bay leafs

Method

1) Fry the Onion and garlic until the Onion is translucent
2) Then add the beef and brown
3) As browned add the oxo beef cube
4) Add the spices and cook
5) Add the wine and bring to a boil
6) Then simmer away and add the  Tomatoes , Worcestershire sauce and Kidney Beans
7) Let simmer away for 20 minutes or so
8)  Take off heat add the chocolate and stir in so it melts and garnish with Basil



This version of Chilli used Braising Steak and I added some Peppers
