Stir fried Prawns with Peppers

This is an easy Chinese Dish to do

Ingredients

250g of Raw Prawns
2.5 cm  piece of fresh root ginger peeled and finely chopped
1 red and green pepper cut into strips
3 spring onions  trimmed and sliced diagonally into 2.5 cm pieces
100g of Water chestnuts thinly sliced
1 tbsp of Rice wine
1 tbsp of Dark Soy sauce
1 teaspoon of cornflour mixed with some water to form a paste
pinch of dried chilli flakes.

Method

1) Fry the Prawns for 2-3 minutes then drain on kitchen paper
2) Add the vegetables and fry for 3-4 minutes
3) Pour the liquid ingredients into a bowl and pour into the pan and return the prawns
4) Fry until the sauce begins to thicken
