Peach Melba Squares
Peach Melba Squares are extremely Delicious and I hope you Enjoy
Ingredients
250g of Unsalted butter
300g Golden Caster Sugar
1 tsp of Vanilla Extract
3 Large Eggs
200g Self-raising Flour
50g ground almonds
tin of peach halves cut into 3 and layers on the top of the cake mixture
100 grams of raspberries
A handful of flaked almonds
Method
1)Line a baking tray. Gently melt the butter in a large saucepan, cool for 5 minutes, and add the sugar, vanilla, and eggs then beat until smooth with a wooden spoon
2) Then stir in the flour, almonds and a pinch of salt
3)Tip the mix into the tin, and lay the peach slices evenly with the raspberries and flaked almonds, Bake at 180 oC for 1hr 10 minutes. Once cooled cut into squares
